Mich. St. vs. UConn
Michigan State blows. There is no way they should of beat UConn. Hasheem Thabeet and A.J. Price are future NBA stars. Their talent outweighs Michigan State's alone. BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Natural Disaster
I would grab my phone, wallet, xbox 360, and fishing gear. The fishing gear would enable me to continue continue my hobby and support my life with food. I would get all the chicks because I'd be reeling in all the big 'uns.

Hurt feelings
Hurt feelings blow. I feel bad for people who have hurt feelings. They are not fun to be around. The are a sign of the weak. Those who are weak do not survive. It's natural selection, look it up. Don't be weak, don't cry, don't show hurt feelings.

Elementary school...
My favorite elementary school memory is the day AJ Snodgrass flung an earthworm into a gathered cirle of fifth grade girls, who at the moment had been singing a new Nelly single they had previously learned for channel 94.1. As the worm reached it's vertex in the air, our eyes lit up as we could only imagine the frantic reaction the young females would display. The worm ended up bouncing off of a coat and landed slime and all in the center of the circle. As one after one spotted the mucky creature the group scattered in pandemonium. Oh, the sweetness!

Husker woes
The men's basketball team once again proved they are without talent and overachieve during Big 12 play. Recent losses to Texas A & M and Kansas State have husker fans wondering when the program will ever turn their fortunes around. Personally, I am sick of seeing them finish ninth in the Big 12 and get torn apart by Kansas or Oklahoma in the Big 12 tourney. Maybe somebody should remind them that the NIT isn't a goal.

Self Reflection
I have learned throughout the year that this class will challenge you, stress you and bend you. How you deal with that stress is what makes you who you are as a journalist. There has been some challenging times but I think this staff has dealt with them and shifted to adapt. The future is bright with many values acquired and more to be learned. As seniors leave and leadership is passed on, the staff will continue to evolve and work to be the best.

http://www.rollbamaroll.com/2009/1/31/743280/derrick-thomas-inducted-in
This blog is about the induction of Derrick Thomas into the NFL Hall of Fame. He is one of the greatest defensive players of all time and is one of the most upsetting cases of a late induction. The blog does a good job of outlining Thomas's accolades and reasons to be in the hall. A very beneficial read.

One armed madness
Driving, brushing my teeth, playing sports, writing, typing, getting dressed, putting on my belt...these mostly effortless activities are turned into toilsome tasks. This six weeks of misery is unlike any suffering this world has ever seen. Yes, its that bad.

I am an expert in...
Balling. When I say balling I mean of course, playing basketball. The first word of this paragraph was written before I sustained a broken wrist and elbow participating in the great sport. But i feel no remorse. Pick-up basketball is a risk. I know that going in.
